Data Bundle - wrong information leads to huge bill

I renewed my data contract with Vodacom on the 4th of March changing it from a 500meg open account to a 3gig top up contract, but the sales person failed to inform me that the renewed contract is not immediate, but only start on the 1st of April! The consequence is that I stayed within my 3 gig contract under the impression that it is an immediate change as the contract was upgradable since January, and got a R5000 bill for end of March! Now I will be paying R5000 for a R200 contract because the sales person was so busy trying to get my laptop organised that they did not go into the finer detail of the contract with me-only said sign here, here and here, thank you Ma'am! and now I pay the price of an extremely bad deal! NOT HAPPY AT ALL! My debit order goes off on the 15th where I paid the renewed contact in March already! I tried to take this up with Vodacom customer care line, but they told me I must go to the shop where I got the deal. They send me to the Vodacom shop, Woodlands, where they called the customer care line again. The only solution that they could come up with is a payment plan for me. This is not right! I signed up for a 3 gig account - TOPUP! - to avoid this!!!
