I have an MTN Anytime100 contract and BIS for a Blackberry Bold 9780 and when I received my invoice and statement for March 2013 I noticed that I had been billed R178 for data which I found very strange as I have BIS which covers most data usage. When I called Customer Care to enquire about this, I was informed that the rule with BIS has apparently changed since the 1st of March and that only the first 200MB are covered by BIS, thereafter I get billed. According to my itemised billing, I only used 199MB during March. I therefore dont understand why I was billed for data. Also, I feel it is breach of contract to change the conditions of my contract without my knowledge during the course of the contract. I have been with MTN for about 10 years, even though there charges are more expensive than other network providers, but if this is the treatment I am getting, I will not have a choice but to change providers.
