Phoned retentions department on Monday 7th Jan to upgrade with a new phone. I was told that they were having trouble getting a nano sim with the phone and would call me back once sorted. They called me on the morning of Tuesday 8th Jan and told me that the sim has been sorted and my order has been placed. On the Friday I phoned to find out the status of my order and they told me the order can take 2 - 7 days. Tuesday 15th I phoned them again and they said that if it doesn't arrive today then they can investigate with the courier company. 4pm on Tuesday 15th I get a phone call to say that they cant find stock of the nano sim and I would have to go to an MTN store on Friday to pick one up - but they can't get hold of them to confirm. So for the past 7 days they knew there was no stock, and the phone and sim was never sent out for delivery.
