Hi, my contract was about ending so i went in store (Kennilworth Centre, cape town) to have this cancel. I was assured that the service would be cancelled once the billing period was over and no further debits would be taken off my account. I was later today notified by the person using the sim card that MTN had called to speak with me and had in that time suspended the sim card. I had contacted the contact center and requested to be transferred to cancel the contract (which had dropped several times before i actually got a successful transfer) and spoke with Sony who constantly said that this was not cancelled when requested and that they have no note of this. He then advised me that i would need to pay in R390. 40 before they could cancel the contract. I advised him of my interaction at KC and he advised that without any reference details he can do nothing but he wants to help. I then advised him to contact the store and speak with the gentleman there as going instore again is inconvenient and a waste of my time for a communication issue they have. i requested to speak with his manager after much grief and was asked to hold in which time the call was dropped. So how do i get help?
