I gave 23 days written notice for my talk 500 contract to be changed to a pay as you go. Vodacom cancelled the service. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone to the call centre and was merely transferred from one person to another and then cut off. This happened 4 times. I then drove to Midrand from Pretoria to Vodacom. I waited for 95 minutes to see a consultant. I showed all correspondence and was told by Vusi Masango (I suspect a false name) that the service would be restoired "shortly" 4 hours later still no service so phone the call centre to be told that the account had been handed over to the legal department. If you ask to see someone in authority like a senior manager you get told not possible. What makes matters worse is that they (the staff at Vodacom) just do not care.
