I had a contract with Vodacom which I cancelled after it was due for upgrade, for there was no stock for the handset I required. two months after the handset was available, so I applied and was declined, consultant who was checking promised to callback after finding out why the application was declined; she never called back. re-applied and the another consultant referred me to Legal Department for I was blacklisted. I called the legal department and they see no reason why I was blacklisted, they removed me from blacklisted and transferred to sales contact center again. I waited 40 minutes a consultant came through and transferred me back to the queue. hours later I receive a call from Durban claiming to be from Vodacom, asking about My application I did with vodacom and if the consultant from vodacom called me to check my credit record and if they took my banking details and explained to why my application was declined, after confirming that the person hanged up, suspicious I called vodacom to check with them the number that called me, it wasn't of any of their service provider. My application with vodacom was on unknown someone's hands and still no contract I applied for.
