Contract not activated after 2 days

On monday (29/07/13) i went to vodacom world in Midrand to take a contract on one of the deals at vodacom shop. It took more than an hour to be assisted but at least Tebogo at the front desk warned me when he was giving a buzzer to call me when its my turn. i was number 8 on the que. After walking around my time came to be assisted and Tshepo was the one helping me. It took him less than 15 minutes to finalize the contract then i went stand for 20 minutes waiting to pay and get my phone. After receiving the phone, i was told to go around the corner for activation. of which i complied and told after 24 hours the contract will be active. it is now approaching 48 hours and when i call vodacom shop they put me through to vodacom customer care (vcc) and vcc tells me that i must call vodacom shop because they supposed to activate it.
