I am upset because I handed in my samsung tab for a software upgrade in June 2012 and to date have not been given my phone back. I have now been told that my phone was out of the store (which had never been communicated to me), and that it would be replaced soon yet it has not yet been replaced and yet I continue to pay the monthly contract fee/installment without any remedy. It is now March 2013 and I am still without my samsung tab, and I continue to wait. I have been promised that I would be re-imbursed and issued a new phone since January 2013 (6 monhts after the incident) yet I still wait (9 months after the incident) for my phone... either this is illegal but it is not fair to me, as I pay my contract dilgently and every month. The store that is the cause of all my pain is the MTN Silverton Store in Pretoria. The managed has intervened, as well as the regional manager, but all they did was promise me a new phone, which I have now been waiting for and paying for, for 9 months!
