I took out a contract for my daughter and she received a Samsung S4. December 2013 the screen went blank and we took it to Samsung. They did a software upgrade but the problem persisted. It was found that the phone need to be replaced by Cell C upon the request of Samsung.
The phone was handed in at Cell C Walmer Park Branch with copies of the documentation of Samsung on 30-12-2013. The Repair request form - R 00755281 - was completed by the attendant and she noted on the form that the phone must be replaced.
We received the phone back after a software upgrade was done (not replaced) and the problem was still the same. The phone was again booked in under repair request form R 756730. Up to date - nearly six weeks - we are given the run around. No phone but still I have to pay the monthly fees. We made several visits to Cell C Walmer Park but no joy. They keep on evading our questions.
Samsung have in the meantime contacted us 3 times to establish if the phone was replaced but still nothing from Cell C. It will be appreciated if somebody can do something about this.
