Defrauded at MTN, Sunninghill (Ref No 107624298)

After 15 years of loyal service i renewed by contract with MTN for a Samsumg Galaxy S4 mini. This was about 6 months ago. To date the phone has never worked and the SIM not activated. On day 5 of renewing the contract i returned the phone and all its contents to the store except for 1 part of the box. i was told that they could not accept the phone but they could make a plan if i could not find the same. I returned on day 8 to be told the colling of period has expired and there is nothing they can do except repair the phone. Over the last 6 months the phone has been in repairs or in store. I have had to continue to pay ito the contract withour recourse. i have been told by MTN Sunninghill that i can wait while they try to repair the phone, cancel the contract and pay circa R6k or buy another phone. Does not sound fair right? it gets better the MTN call centre refers me to the store where today I was told by the manager Kent that they are doing what they can and he went further to say "i cannt help you because i choose too". he arrogantly even wrote and signed a memo to that effect which he gave to me. So i dont have a phone nor can i use the service but I HAVE to pay every month.
