Last year december I took a Samsung s3 phone on a contract from MTN store, today I went back to book the phone for repairs as it was not switching on. When I got into the store I was asked who was my saleman which I found irrelevant and I told them that was not neccesary since I took the phone at that store. After that they told me that their systems are offline and I said I will wait. After waiting for about 15 minutes I went out to make a phone call and when I came back they were busy helping a customer on the same system that i was told to be offline and again another customer. The lady who wasnt wearing any name tag said I will wait the whole day because the systems were offline and then i asked why they managed to retrieve the other customers details on the same system that i was told to be offline and they said to me it is the different scenario with me and i then asked them they did not want the proof that i took the phone there which they could have done if they are able to retrieve customer information. I left my phone with them to do whatever they feel like doing with it and I went to the police station to make an affidavit that I left the phone with them.
