I went to the Telkom shop today to get SIM Swaps for some of my contracts. They informed me that they need a proof of residence. First of all, WHY THE DO YOU NEED A PROOF OF RESIDENCE WHEN I HAVE 5 CONTRACTS WITH YOU. THE NUMBERS HAVE ALL BEEN RICA'd LONG AGO. Secondly, they tell me I cannot e-mail the proof of address as they cannot give out their email addresses. THIS IS ALSO!!! and thirdly, they made me stand in the ridiculously slow queue with only 1 consultant able to assist ON A SATURDAY? WHAT THE?
I have previously requested the SIM swaps and they told me it was free, but their systems were offline EVERY DAY THAT I WENT. Now when I finally scraped together the patience to try again because I need my free minutes I have to pay R35 each and I have to spend all day in one of your incompetent stores standing in the queue.
After I was told that they need a proof of address I went and PAID for the document to be printed and when I returned the queue was even longer and not moving at all.
I NEVER WANT TO VISIT ONE ON YOUR UNDERSTAFFED STORES AGAIN.
I DONT EVEN GET PROPER 8ta RECEPTION IN MY AREA
