No money on a Gift Card

We purchased a new contract in dec last year, with the contract came a voucher of R500, which we where told could be used any were, when i tried to use this card yesterday it declined. I went to the Voda world in gateway and was told to contact the store, when i did the lady advised me first that there was nothing she can do as this was 2 months ago, i then advised her that the card was still valid, she then advised me that she will check and call me back . to this date there is no call rec from her . i then contacted the vodacom help line and they advised me to contact 086111 4093. when i called them they said this card is not active and nothing is loaded on it and i should call the store . i called the store and she will advise her manager of what i said, when i asked her when she will get back to me and when this will be sorted she said she doesnt no may be friday or saturday, another call was made to her and she asked us to contact the 0861114093 number, they advised me that they can no do anything the store needs to help . i think this is the worst customer service ever as the client is given a run around for something that was suppose to be a gift.
