I bought a cell phone from Vodacom via their online ordering services. This phone was delivered on Friday 11/10/13 and I had asked for my existing number to be converted to the new contract. I called Vodacoms 0821945 to get the number activated and I even got an sms as proof that this was done, I followed instructions as per the consultant but by the next day the sim card was still not working it just said sim card registration failed. I then called the same number again where I was told to take out the sim for 3-5hours which I did and still nothing. I eventually called 082111 and was advised by a guy Tsietsi that there was an error when the activation was done and he would be logging a call and then sms me a reference number, and said my line should be working by 18:00pm on Sunday, still nothing and I never got the sms. So again I called 082111 on Saunnday and spoke to a lady who then advised me that there was no report logged and she was only going to do that as I was talking to her, she atleast gave me a reference number: S3-T3931-1V9B4, however the sim card is still not fixed. This is highly unacceptable as this number was for my mother who stays alone and now she has no contact.
