My husband opened an account at NWJ/RCS on Sunday... before collecting our card on Monday i saw that when you open an account you receive a R 1 100 gift voucher, i queried this over the phone and was advised yes that's correct. We get to the store yesterday and we are told no this isnt valid we will let you know today. Apart from that the purchase we would like to make is R 9 000 and the credit provided is R 3000, not allowing us to make the purchase. So we opt for a laybuy, then we are told because we lay buy we cannot get the voucher, even though we opened the account. I called NWJ head office and spoke to the customer service manager she investigated and advised that we qualify for the 1 100 voucher, the store calls me not long after and tells me we will only give you a R 500 voucher. I have had no joy at all with NWJ, i called RCS which is the card division for NWJ in regards to a temp limit increase and then i'm told this is not valid for new accounts and this isnt anywhere on the terms and conditions. So the fact that i really love this ring, do i have to take this. The store has not be helpful and neither has anyone else and i'm really upset that i have to put up with this
