Absolutely frustrated


I've been with MTN for about 10 years now. During 2011 and the beginning of 2012, airtime of mine would just vanish. I could lose up to R100 in a day. MTN sent me to a specialist to see if maybe my cellular data was downloading in the background. This was not the case. So MTN concluded that they have no idea where the money is going although it is linked to data charges.

Yesterday I checked my airtime, and I had around R280, I did use the internet and SMS and phone yesterday but i estimate maybe R30 of airtime was used yesterday. While I was sitting giving blood this morning, i checked how much airtime i had, it said R1.80. I was shocked. I checked again 20 seconds later and it said R1.14. I checked again and it said R0.84. I immediately turned my phone off. My airtime was being used up(R250 in total) right in front of me without me even doing anything on my phone.

I went to MTN at Atterbury Value Mart. The lady tried to find out what was going on my she said I used my airtime from calls and data. I know that this is not the case. I am highly frustrated and annoyed now because this is about the 10th time this has happened.

I like MTN and don't want to go to Vodacom.
