Yesterday I loaded R200 airtime and converted R149 into data bundles. After downloading an app I noticed that my airtime is being used and not the data bundle that I loaded. Called the customer service line and they gave me a pathetic excuse that the airtime will expire first so that is why it is uses it for downloading applications? Why would I convert airtime into data if I wanted that to be the case?
Absolute rip off. So my airtime will deplete and I will have that lovely 50% mahala data plus the data I converted and won't be able to make a call. Nice going MTN.
