Vodacom
Corporate Account

My corporate issued cell phone, a blackberry, had a fault on the tracking pad. I heard from the call centre this is a common problem. I enquired if it could be fixed right away or a loan phone to the same spec can be provided to allow for continuity and I was told this was not possible in a rude response. I further enquired to see if we could upgrade or replace the phone and was told my corporate didnt spend enough. I will pass the message on. On collection of the phone, in an empty shop at opening time., I was trying to get my schedule from my laptop (general job for my phone), while the phone was booting up to check, another consultant asked me to move along the counter which I did. This was not to his satisfaction and so he grabbed my laptop by it's screen and tried to yank it off the counter. After stopping him I was met with anger and mumurs under his breath. Once the phone booted up it prevails that all the data, including log on and security information to log on to the corporate server had been deleted. After highlighting the issue to the consultant and the dificulties to get the settings down again I was responded to with a laugh and asked to sign the service form.
