I've had a recurring problem with my BB9900 within weeks of receiving the handset
I finally decided that I needed to send it into Vodacom so that they could repair it
The problem > The phone continually selects ENTER. Whether or not I press the screen / keypad
This is extremely irritating when it comes to text messaging and emails
Even making calls becomes a problem
I tried the normal things to try to sort out the problem ie reboot, hard reboot & software upgrade

I gave it to Vodacom via my companys IT dept (corporate contract) only after I realized that it must be a hardware issue

phone went in about 8-10 wks ago & came back after 2 wks with a statement that they did a software upgrade
After i booted it up & syncd contacts I noticed that the problem was still there

I handed the phone back to IT dept and phone was sent back to vodacom. It came back 2 wks after that date with a note that they changed the keypad
problem was still evident. Noticed it within minutes of switching on the phone

Sent it back to IT dept & they sent the phone back to vodacom
I have not heard a thing about the phone since then
But I'm still paying the expensive subs with no phone :(
