My landline was repeatedly damaged in October, November and December so I endeavoured to cancel it.
So I have been trying, since December, to cancel my ADSL and land line subscriptions on two land lines.
Telkom refuse to assist me when I visit a Telkom Direct, saying that I need to phone 10210.
When I phone 10210 I spend over 30 minutes waiting, without response from their call centres, and when they do answer the phone they are unable to assist me or provide me with a reference number that I can use for future enquiries. This makes it impossible to cancel my service via phone.
I then complained over social media and was given an email address to contact.
I emailed the address with my cancellation request and the details Telkom required, and Telkom responsed by requresting a copy of my ID book, but that to availed to nothing and I am still waiting to have my services cancelled.
