Telkom refuse top cancel my land line ADSL

I am in a helpless situation with Telkom. I have been trying to cancel my landline since July but they keep cancelling my cancellation. When I enquire about it (at least weekly) they say they will escalate the problem but I have literally been waiting for someone to call me back for about 2 months. In the meanwhile I am paying thousands for a landline in a house I don't live in anymore.
