My Apple Iphone had hardware failure after 3 months. Phone on contract with vodacom. Took it to Repair Centre Menlyn to be fixed. They took the phone send it away to Midrand (Advanced repair Centre). After trying to get it sorted they sent me an sms saying my Apple has been exchanged and is ready for collection. I phoned their Head Office and spoke to a lady called Sarah, asking if they exchanged my Iphone will i get a brand new phone in a sealed box, she PROMISED me that is what will happen. When i arrived at Menlyn, i was given a 'new'' so called phone. NOT IN A SEALED BOX but in a plastic bag!! This is unacceptable and i am going to court and the newspapers THE WORLD SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY DO. HOW CAN YOU EXCHANGE AND 3MONTH OLD PHONE WITH ONE NOT IN A SEALED BOX BUT IN A PLASTIC BAG??? WHO'S PHONE WAS I GIVEN... OR WHERE DO YOU GET THIS PHONE FROM?? and then vodacom is quick, to say sorry your contract is with us... we don't deal with our repair side. I WANT A NEW PHONE A SEALED BOX LIKE AN EXCHANGED PHONE SHOULD BE LIKE HEAD OFFICE SAID IT WOULD BE.
