Vodacom gave deceptive reason for fault on iphone

My Iphone 4S 1 day just did not want to charge anymore. I knew that it was still under a year, thus warranty allows me to give in the phone for replacement or repair

I gave my phone to Vodacom Menlyn and after a few weeks they said it cant be repaired or replaced under warranty as the phone got water damage. A few emails was send between us and I knew that I would have to take it to an Apple store. I waited a few weeks for the phone to get it back to me

At the apple store they got the phone charging again with a struggle and told me that it definitely was not water damage just a charging problem, thus under warrantyNow through this whole process my 1 year warranty is passed. Vodacom does not want to help me.

Vodacom is the one that to me about the fault on my phone and now they dont want to repair or replace my phone because it is out of warranty.

I think this is very poor service and unfair to me. Not even to speak about all they emails I have sent and driving to vodacom a few times.

I have been a client at vodacom for 14 years now, having 3 talk contracts and data contract. At my office I am also responsible for 50 phones (vodacom) and will think carefully with renewal.
