FINDING CORRECT PERSON TO DEAL WITH AT MTN

Since November I and my neighbors have had intermittent network coverage. It seem a MTN BLACKBERRY problem and specifically our area. Only GSM is available - no EDGE OR 3G - so no browsing or social network or e-mails or bbm and whatsapp also.

Initially i was rebooting my phone until I discovered it was the area and my neighbors were also affected.

I began calling MTN in December and had no help. Then in January someone from MTN call centre gave me the Technical contact number - 0839001212 - and i called them a few times and in January.

On 28 January I had my call logged and was given a reference number. I have been calling this number and quoting my reference number to be told there is a turnaround time of 10 days and we are still within those limits.

I am trying to find out what the problem is and just to get someone to call me back as I have been so frustrated by the ignorance.

Surely I am not the only one complaining? I know my neighbor behind me and up the road have been calling.

As a paying customer we deserve to be contacted and not have to try contact them all the time? And for someone to know what is going on.

Please help. It is exasperating.
