I got myself a new contract from MTN. The signal at my house and in the area is very poor. I struggle to make and receive phone calls. Even the internet is only picking up EDGE. Sometimes I don't have internet access at all.
I phone the MTN poor coverage number 0839001212 in the beginning of January. The informed me that someone will contact me within 10 working days. I never received a call. So I contacted them again. They gave me the same story. It's been almost 3 months now and still no one has contacted me about this problem. In the mean time I'm still getting very poor reception from MTN. I reside in the Brakpan area, Sonneveld.
My Vodacom phone has full 3G signal and internet. If I knew the signal was going to be so poor, I would have stayed with Vodacom.
Please can somebody help sort this problem out. I'm not the only person who is complaining about this.
