Damaged handset lost during repair by Vodacom

My Blackberry handset was damaged during the December break and I handed it in for repair on 29 December 2012 at the Vodacom Rivonia store. They informed me that they would contact me within 10 working days regarding the status of the repair. After 14 working days I started contacting them on a daily basis enquiring about the status of my handset. They insisted that they would contact me as soon as they receive an update. Finally when I contact them on 29 January they indicated that the handset was damaged and require repair. I visited the branch as signed the quote for the repair which was them emailed to Vodacom retail. I phoned Vodacare on 5 Febraury to enquire about the status of the repair. I was informed that the job was cancelled by the Rivonia store on 5 January 2013 and the handset returned to the store. Vodacare reffered me to the Rivonia store for clarification.

The Vodacom Rivonia store manager are unavailable to discuss this matter. As a result I have been without a handset for almost 6 weeks.
