My wife took her Blackberry in for repairs at the end of February. We were updated every week for the first 3 weeks on the status, then nothing. During week 5 we went to the Vodashop repair center in Menlyn to inquire about the status and were informed that a replacement phone was available to her for more than a week as her handset couldn't be repaired. She received a refurbished handset on 06/04/2013 and was happily using this till the 24th of April when the handset was blocked. After several inquiries she was informed that it is a handset. She took up this matter with Vodashop repair center who informed her that they will investigate the matter (Friday 26th and Saturday 27th). We also addressed our complaint to Vodacom as they are the service provider. So far everything is on hold "pending the investigation" but in the meantime my wife had to take time of from work, travel to Menlyn twice, and she still are without means of communication. Vodashop/Vodacom should have supplied her with a new handset and compensated her for her cost as this is clearly their mistake, but in the meantime they are investigating there internal problems while the client is left in a lurch. BAD
