REFUSAL TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE PHONE

On the 26/10/2012 I approached my local Vodacom direct store to upgrade my mobile phone. I opted for a Sony Experia and was immediately provided with one. The phone refused to charge and I took the phone back to the store on the 29/10/2012. I requested to cancel and was told I cant. I requested a new handset and was told I can't receive one. The phone was sent away for repairs. I received the repaired handset approximately 1 week later. On reaching home I experienced the same problem. I again took the handset back and requested a new handset. Again I was refused and the handset was sent for repairs. Fast forward to April 2013 and a couple of repairs later the handset was again "repaired" and returned to the store. I was again told I cannot receive a new handset. I have "had" this handset for 5 months and have not enjoyed a weeks uninterrupted use. On phoning Vodacom contact centre I am told they cannot help me. On visiting the store I'm told they will not/cannot help me. I have phoned Vodacom countless times and I have refused to take receipt of the phone. I want a new handset because obviously their "repairs" are not working but no one want's to help me clear this matter up.
