I went in to the branch to make en queries as to whether, I may be approved for a mobile contract with them. I gave required documents payslip and bank statement. The store manager insisted that I sign the application form, to which I objected saying, I'd rather sign once I have the device on hand. He then said its a procedure to fill in everything, so that the process is fast. 2 weeks later he called me to inform me, that I am binded to a contract with Nashua Mobile, if I want to terminate it I must call the call center and take it up with them, and I will be charged anything from R200 to R2000 for wanting to terminate the contract. My question is what am I paying for, as I do not have their device on me, and I hadn't gone into the branch to activate the phone line?
