Very dissapointed in the uncapped product

I have a 4MB uncapped account with MWEB. Today I found my downloads throttled to 512kbps (origin & steam) because I used what they deem as too much data. I find this level of throttling excessive, that is 1/8 of the "uncapped" bandwidth I pay for. There is no warning whatsoever, just a sudden steep drop in the level of service.
Now I've been a client of Mweb for many years before I relocated, and this was quite shocking considering the good service I got from them in the past. I would have thought that after all these years the throttling would be less restrictive and not as draconian as it is now.

I'm off to Afrihost with a friendly warning to all my friends:
If you game, don't get MWEB uncapped!
If you watch movies a lot, don't get MWEB uncapped!
If you want someone that can help you at the helpdesk without taking up most of your evening, don't get MWEB uncapped!
VERY IMPORTANT: You cannot get out of the throttling situation! You have to either not use the internet for 14 days(!!) or upgrade to an overpriced Uncapped account.
If MWEB regards 12.5% of what you pay for as a "service", then it is time to move to another ISP!
