After being a MWEB customer for 14 years I am pretty much being denied of a service. I have a premium uncapped with MWEB but for the past few days I've been throttled down to about 10kbs. Phoning technical support I'm being told that I'm throttled because of high usage, but no one can tell me exactly what the limit is for uncapped ADSL is. In fact, I thought uncapped means uncapped... If MWEB is throttling Uncapped ADSL then it is clear that their Uncapped ADSL adverts are false and should be retracted. I wonder what the BCCSA's view on this is? and what will the Consumer Protection Act say about the fact that customers are paying for a service which is not being delivered? MWEB, please come back with a solution and don't tell me I need to upgrade my account.
