I have been a loyal Afrihost customer for 2 years now and recently with Mwebs price drop i decided to go to them for 4MB Uncapped service. Everything was perfect and today the speed just went down tremendously. So I did a speedtest and got 0.10Mbs which is crazy since i have a 10MB Line.
So I phoned Mweb and after a long hold I was told that they are throttling me because I downloaded 40 GB. So My reply was, this is unbelievable, I know i could get throttled but not by 4MBps! My speed went from 3.8 to 0.10 that is not throttling, that's killing. With Afrihost I downloaded more than 100GB per month and my speed never went under 2MBps. So im cancelling and is very disappointed.
So if anybody needs Uncapped do not get it here.
