MTN-Chatsworth PnP center poor customer service

I have taken out a contract for Samsung S4 on the 29/06/2013, the phone stopped function in October 2013 and I had taken it back to the store on the 29/10/2013.

I was then told buy the salesman Mubeen that I have to pay and additional R1600.00 to get a new phone as the one that I purchased cannot be repaired and is not manufactured anymore.

I tried explaining that I am not going to pay the additional R1600.00 as this was not my fault and that I was given a defected phone and this phone is still under warranty.

I then asked for the manager Alicia and she aswell said that she cannot help me.

I am currently paying R400 a month for the phone that I cannot use.

I hope someone responds this complaint and tries to help me.

This kind service is shocking, this is not the way to treat a loyal customer.

The chances of me taking another contract or even using MTN again is very low.

Alot of time and money has been wasted on this matter, and nothing has been sorted! UNAPPRECIATED
