Just went into the Vodashop at the Mossel Bay Mall in Heiderand. Bought airtime and paid with my card when I noticed the card machine is stuck behind a screen and out of sight from the client. I stated to the staff member that I would prefer the machine to be in sight as I don't like my card to be out of my sight. My Dad who accompanied me explained that it is preferable to have the machine in sight to prevent card skimming. A Nikki (staff member) appeared and started telling my Dad in a loud sarcastic voice that yes they do skim cards and money from clients. I have a right to ask for my card to be in my sight at all times and do not expect a staff member of Vodacom to be sarcastic about my request. Nikki you need to learn some customer service techniques and get some manners. I think admitting to skimming and, although sarcastically sheds a bad light on Vodacom, your branch and yourself!!!
