Did a sim swap more than 24 hours ago and still no

I did a sim swap at a cell c store on the 2nd of Jan. More than 24 hours later I still don't have any service. When calling 084 140, at expense, the call center could not give me any indication of why or when. All they could do is log a complaint to sim swap and they would contact me within 4 hours.
