On Friday I had my cellphone from gym. The sim was blocked and the phone blacklisted.
On Satuday I went to Eastgate for a new sim and I was told MTN no longer accepts drivers licenses.
I went home and got my ID and went to MTN in Bedford center only to be told that they need proof of residence.

I went home and then back again with all the required documents. The necessary was done and I was told the new sim will be active in 2-24 hours... It's 48 hours and I'm still waiting!!!

I called 808 and they say the sim swap wasn't processed. I called the store, twice, (as I'll call you back means it's not going to happen) and they say the sim swap was done 3 times this morning but it isn't going through on the network.
I was told to wait 2 hours.

3 hours later I call 808 again and they say query it with the store as the sim swap wasn't processed.
I called the store and they cannot help me.

So basically no-one knows what's going on and in the meantime I need to suffer due to other people's incompetence.

I enquired about a refund for the sim swap and they said it can be done.

Guess who's going to get my money now... Nope, definitely not MTN
