I bought a iphone 5 a few days ago in America and had it unlocked. The phone works just fine. I went to Autopage to do a sim swap to a Nano simcard. After they told me that my account was R3, 01 short they told me that I could get my sim if I paid my account. After doing just that I got my sim and was told that the account will be updated the next day and that the sim swap will take 48 hours. After the 48h the sim still was not activated and I called Autopage customer support. They told me the sim was not registered on my account. The lady told me she sent a message to their IT department to do the swap and it would take 24 hours. That 24 hours expired today and still no active nano sim. I have been a paying customer for 10 years and have never asked for anything, but after this lack of service I can't comprehend that a sim swap can take 72 hours. Cell C can do it in 10min! So why is this sim swap taking so long Autopage!?
