I recently renewed my cell contract changing from one Blackberry phone to another. I have 3 Vodacom contracts 2 x 3G cards and 1 x cell phone - I was shocked when I had to pay R250 to have the data transferred from one photo to the other, I am not clever enough to transfer all my contacts across so went into Gateway Customer Care to ask for help - I was told it would cost R250, when I queried the charge they said they are a franchise and that's what it costs. I had to do it so left my phone with them for 1 hour and then collected it - I have nothing against the staff at this outlet they are fabulous but to pay R250 for a simple task and especially when renewing a contract - that is shocking! What customer care??? More like Customer I don't care!
