For the past two years I have had a 3G modem contract with Vodacom. Each month I get billed R 149.00 for 2 gigs of data per month. In November 2013 I renewed the contract, which is now R 99.00 for 2 gigs of data per month. This is what I agreed to and what I am contracted with Vodacom for. However, since the renewal I am getting billed far more than R99.00 per month (even though I am using far less than 2 gigs per month). Today I phoned Vodacom and asked why. They nonchalantly said it is for a subscribed service I have NEVER heard about and NEVER subscribed to, called Mira Networks, and they continued to say they can just unsubscribe me, no problem. Their attitude was that I am just a silly customer and I must have subscribed to this while surfing the Internet one day or while sms'ing the late night erotic numbers on tv. They also said it will take about 72 hours to unsubscribe (?!). This is CLEARLY, the criminals at Mira Networks [URL Removed] are sending Vodacom cell phone (3G modem) numbers to be billed without the consent or even knowledge of the owners of those cell phones (3G modems). I have never agreed to anything from [URL Removed]
