No Phone allocated - on back orde

I ordered a new iphone 5c via vodacoms call centre / upgrade centre.
Every time we phone to find out when we will receive the phone the call centre gives us a different answer and no clue as to when the phone will actually be delivered although thy tell us they have stock.
This is absolutely ridiculous. You would think that when you pre-register to receive a phone that you will be one of the first people to receive it, but not true.

How long should one wait without receiving a proper answer as to what/how/when? The call centre agents all tell a different story and definitely lack proper training!

I will NEVER upgrade online again!!!
