I have requested for my internet service to be canceled and gave 30 days notice. At that time I was informed that my email account would also be canceled, and I then requested that it be made a stand-alone email account on my adsl account and was assured that it would be done.
This morning, when inquiring about the stand-alone account, im told that I have to go to a Telkom shop and fill in forms and reapply again for it. This should have been automatically transferred.
Well now Telkom can take the email account and shove it... its a pity that we dont have another fixed-line operator in the country.
