My contract is a telkom mix account with a blackberry.
My contract reached end of term in December. In november i went in to the richards bay office to give them notice that i will no longer continue with the contract. I filled in a form and they said it will be canceled when it reaches end of term
Some time after the contract should have been canceled i realized that the line is still active. I called in to the 8ta call center and they referred me to the telkom center because the line is a telkom mix and they have their own department. I informed them of the situation. I asked them to cancel. In january I decided to go to the richards bay office telkom office again. The lady at reception told me she also has a mix contract and she too has been battling with trying to cancel it. She said the best she can do is send them an email to request a cancellation. I have signed up with MTN in december on another contract deal thinking that this one will be cancelled. I am now forced to pay for 2 lines. It is not within my budget. I think what they are doing to me is illegal. I would like the line to be canceled immediately and i would like to be re-imbursed for the extra months that i paid
