Poor service from Afrihost. Took the plunge and got a MIFI device from Afrihost. Took nearly 2 weeks just to get the device. Complain about it, reply from Afrihost "Sorry Sir, it's a new product, our other products like ADSL is perfect".
Get hosting with Afrihost, log a call, takes 2 - 3 days for feedback.
Get ADSL CAPPED UNSHAPED with Afrihost, its shaped. Log a call. No feedback. Eventually get feedback that there are issues with Mobile Data and ADSL in KZN. I am in Cape Town. They give me a test account to test. Works perfectly. Use Telkom uncapped shaped, Afrihost CAPPED UNSHAPED... same result... 15kb/s. Use 3G... 120kb/s. Use Afrihost test account, 80kb/s. Switch back to my Afrihost... 15kb. Now that there is proof that it is Afrihost account, and not my download, or my Telkom line, now there is no feedback from Support. Just nothing. Such poor client service. So over Afrihost.
