8ta BAD SERVICE!

I visited the 8ta store in Canal Walk in response to calls and sms's from 8ta to inform them I was not going to renew my contract that was due to end at the end of August. I was told to call the call center to cancel it and in doing so on the 6 August, the call center agent told me it would take 20 working days to be effective.

So to my understanding, my contract would no longer be available and the contract would end at the end of August. However, yesterday I receive an email stating that I have a balance due of R630.85 on a statement dated from the 1 - 30 September? I again then phoned the call center today to inquire and was told I was suppose to send an email as confirmation for cancellation of my contract, which I was not even informed about on my initial call at the beginning of August nor by the person in the 8ta store at Canal Walk. This I find to be very bad service and misleading to the consumer whom you as service provider claim to have "great customer service" yet by error on your behalf want to expect payments??? this is not acceptable service at all!!!

I was even told by the agent my cell number would then be prepaid... but now I am going to cancel everything!!!
