I seem to have become another victim of this company called Integrat. My complaint is similar to the previous,
Alta1979. I received an sms in July that I have a virus on my phone and the message repeatedly said I must remove the virus. I then received another SMS "to protect your phone, download our FREE anti-virus software for Anroid phones" - and I said ok. A shocker when I checked my MTN statement, "Content Services" -- almost R400. I called MTN, who said that I subscribed to something, and must calll a company called Integrat, who by the way only has a cellphone number. I called them and they said I subscribed to an anti-virus software for R20 a day.
Is Integrat working with the cellphone providers, to rip us off. TO my knowledge, when you subscribe to any additional service, you get asked for your credit card details and here the service provider is billing you.
Surely, this is against the law -- the NCA.
Can anyone assist in how I get a refund on this?
