A few days ago my phone went out of order, so I took out a new contract online on [URL Removed] They promise delivery within 24 hours. I placed my order on the 21st. (Order number 14559343). This morning I call them to find out whats up (no order appeared on my pending orders page) and the helpdesk agent tells me that they were still awaiting verbal confirmation from me - an agent was supposed to call me to confirm the order. I give them a landline number to call me on, stressing that it is urgent. They tell me an agent would phone me very soon.
An hour and a half later, I call the helpdesk again. They tell me that Kate has been assigned to call me and that she would call me immediately. I hang up and await her call.
Two hours later I'm still awaiting her "immediate" call. I call again, once again the helpdesk says that Kate will call me back instantly, and no, I cannot be transferred to Kate to just confirm the order that way because she is not part of a callcentre.
Surprisingly I suddenly get an email confirming that my order has been dispatched, but still no call. If this compulsory confirmation call never happened, why am I suddenly being sent a phone now?
