MTN released the jellybean 4.1.2 for the Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-19100. I update my phone on the 18/08/2013 and ever since I've had no internet connection. I inquired about this problem at the MTN store Cavendish and the person told me he has had a few customers with the same problem and don't know how to help me. Everything was working fine before this update.
I was advised to do an sim swap but he could no guarantee me that this would fix the problem. I'm not going to pay R136.50 for a sim swap when I cant be guaranteed that the problem will be fixed. I also inserted a friends (also a MTN customer) of mine sim card that is very new but the problem persisted.
MTN authorised and released this update and now I'm sitting with a phone that I cant use and no one can help me. Ever since this update I also cant save any APN settings.
