I recieved a reconditioned handset from MTN on Saturday after complaining about my faulty phone. The new handset worked for no less than a hour then seized to function. The phone does not connect to BIS both myself and my branch have tried everything the phone will not link. It is a OBF they said I must take the handset back to HVRC (like I am made of money). MTN has cost me my job today as this is a requirement. I refuse to have another reconditioned handset as it will be the 4th one. I want a full refund on the original sale price of R2499. Headoffice is just raising their hands and saying there is nothing that can be done, I must hang onto my faulty handset voice with attitude.
