I was called regarding my upgrade. I upgraded and received my new handset the following day my BBM service was off on the old phone and the new phone would also not access my BBM. We called 082111 and they tried a few things and then told us to switch off the phone remove the battery and leave it off for 10 minutes and that she waould call us back. We did as told but never received a call back. I went to a cell phone shop and they looked and said they could not find a fault and said I must go to a vodashop. I went to a vodacom shop in Alberton and they looked and said everything was active and said I should see a data specialist. I came home and called 028111 and was now told that the service is off even though I paid the subscription for the month of August on the! st of August. It is unfair to have to wait until the 1 September when I have paid for a service that I am not receiveing. I use this service to communicate with my daughter to see if she is home and for he to send me messages if her lift does not fetch her from school. I cannot be without this service and am not prepared to pay an additional fee as my account is up to date.
