SHOCKING SERVICE, NOBODY ABLE TO HELP :(

I UPGRADED MY MOM'S CONTRACT, THATS ON MY NAME ON SATURDAY 17 AUGUST 2013. I HAD TO COURIER THE PHONE TO HER BECAUSE SHE STAYS IN A VERY, VERY SMALL TOWN THAT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE ANY VODACOM SHOP. SHE EVENTUALLY GOT THE PHONE IN THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPT. hER ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE BATTERY ONLY LASTS FOR A FEW HOURS, I TOLD HER THAT MAYBE SHE IS USING THE PHONE A LOT AND THATS THE REASON, BUT AFTER A WEEK THE PHONES BATTERY STILL DOES NOT LAST FOR 4 HOURS. i CONTACTED THE SHOP WERE I DID THE UPGRADE, THEY SAID MY MOM MUST TAKE THE PHONE IN BECAUSE IT IS A COMMON ERROR ON BLACKBERRIES AND THEY WILL REPLACE THE PHONE OR AT LEAST REPLACE THE BATTERY. SHE DROVE ABOUT AN HOUR TO GET TO THE SHOP, BUT SHE WAS THEN JUST TOLD BY THE CONSULTANT THAT HIS PHONE DOES NOT LAST A DAY, SO SHE MUST NOT EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM HER BATTERY.SERIOUSLY! SHE IS OVER 60 YEARS OLD, ALL HER SETTINGS ARE OFF AND SHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY APP'S ON HER PHONE.SHE WAS SENT HOME, ANOTHER 60MIN DRIVE WITH THE DEAD BATTERY. WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE IS THIS??? I CAN UNDERSTAND THIS IF ITS A CHEAP PHONE, BUT IT IS A BLACKBERRY THATS ABOUT R300 A MONTH. I HAVE VARIOUS CONTRACTS WITH VODACOM, BUT LOST ALL FAITH, SO SHOCKED!!!
